Vigoss is back

As he stepped down from Internationa- Ks.Int along with Russian Fede- Smile, Russian Fede- Vigoss was supposedly tired of the game and needed to take a break from DotA.

Now it seems that it could have been a smokescreen to ease his departure from the team, as he has chosen to join Ukranian organization Ukraine DTS-Gaming, only a week after leaving his old team.

In a comment to sgamer.com, the manager of DTS-Gaming, XPEH, has said that taking in DotA was a natural step, as it is one of the quickest evolving parts of eSport today.

The team that is going to play for DTS-Gaming looks like this:

  • Russian Fede- Vigoss
  • Russian Fede- Provein
  • Russian Fede- takken
  • Ukraine love_sun
  • Ukraine Sky

The reasoning behind not picking up a fully Ukranian squad is, according to XPEH, that this team was at hand – and not employed by any other organization. He also reveals that talks have been going on with the team for a longer period, meaning that they suited the organization well.

When Indonesia XcN were picked up by the gaming organisation Fnatic, they were still in need of a 5th player for their roster. With Jefri ‘Stamx‘ Suwiryo calling it quits three months ago, the team had been looking for a player to fill the void left in their lineup.

The hole has been filled by Indonesia Jeffry ‘Neo‘ Lu, a well known Indonesian player that has been seen playing with XcN in the past. His previous team was Nightmare, one of the top teams in Indonesia. With the move to Fnatic, Neo will now be in the limelight on an international scale.

He has already made his debut with Fnatic in an Asian DotA Championship (ADC) match against mKvL. With their new addition playing Zeuss, Fnatic won the match in under 40 minutes, the replay is available in our replay center and on the right side of the news.

Fnatic will be unable to use Neo in their two upcoming PDL matches against WG and TeG. However, should Fnatic make the top 6 playoffs, they will be able to use Neo.

With a short interview with his new home, Fnatic. Neo talks about his move to Fnatic and what we can expect from him.

“Hello to our newest recruit, please introduce yourself! What’s your name, nickname, and how did you join fnatic?
Hi my name is Jeffry Lu, nickname is Neo! I joined fnatic because they needed a new member since stamx retired and I helped the team before in ADC season 1. They have no problems with me so they asked me to join.

What role do you play for the team?
I can play the late game hero or even the ganker. One game I can play Queen of Pain and the next Beastmaster.
What do you admire about the fnatic team?
They are the best team I could ever join. I feel so free on this team because I can play whatever I want. Everyone is equal.

What are your goals with fnatic?
I hope I can do my best and we play well in all our upcoming matches. Of course I want to join as many tournaments (online/offline) as I can under the fnatic name and make them proud. The most important thing is I’m very happy to play for them!

Another famous organisation adds a DotA team to their roster. This DotA team is namely Excecutioner, XcN who already shown their skill level in the Asian DotA scene and playing in tournaments like ADC, WCG Asia and PDL.

“I didn’t think this day would come for fnatic but it’s something we can’t ignore anymore. DotA’s popularity is unquestionable and with XcN joining ranks we are sure that they will carry the fnatic flag really high”, said Elroy Pinto, General Manager.

fnatic.Rinoa comments: “At first I fell in love with their unique playstyle and then learned that they were such amazing people. I’m happy to be given the opportunity to help them.”

Current roster:

Neha “Rinoa” Nair (Manager)
Ritter “Ritter” Rusli (Team Captain)
Romi “melen” Gunawan
Ariyanto “Lakuci” Sony
Sugiarto “BaHaMuT” Cahyadi

The fifth player Jefri “stam-x” Suwiryo retired from the DotA scene. A new player will fill up the missing spot soon.
